IMAA's ecosystem includes medical professionals, therapists, clinics, beauty centres, academies, trainers, brands, manufacturers, distributors, investors, technology providers and other medical aesthetic-related businesses and professionals, subject to applicable membership criteria.
No. IMAA is an independent professional association.
No. Membership or certification from IMAA does not replace any licence, permit, professional registration or approval required by local authorities.

IMAA currently offers: Student Membership, Individual Membership, Corporate Membership, Lifetime Individual Membership, Lifetime Corporate Membership, Fellow Membership (invitation only) and Honorary Membership (invitation only).
Student: RM600/year · Individual: RM2,000/year · Corporate: RM3,000/year · Lifetime Individual: RM6,000 one-time · Lifetime Corporate: RM9,000 one-time.
No. Lifetime membership is a one-time membership fee and does not require annual membership renewal, subject to IMAA membership terms.
No. Both are conferred by invitation.
Yes. IMAA reserves the right to review membership applications according to its eligibility, professional and ethical requirements.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated in writing, membership fees are generally non-refundable once membership has been activated.
It is the digital platform through which members can access their membership profile, member directory, business matching, resources, learning opportunities, events and other member services.
Members may request connections through the platform subject to privacy settings and IMAA community rules.
Members may publish approved business listings and opportunities in the relevant sections. Advertising and promotional activities remain subject to IMAA guidelines.
Members can choose which contact details are visible to other users.
No. IMAA provides the platform and facilitates introductions. Members are responsible for conducting their own evaluation, negotiations and due diligence.
IMAA may conduct basic member or listing verification, but such verification should not be interpreted as an investment, legal, regulatory or commercial guarantee.
Public users may view selected information, but direct matching functions are reserved primarily for active members.
Your interest is recorded in the IMAA backend and sent to the relevant party and Secretariat for follow-up.

Active members who meet the applicable criteria for the certification category may apply.
Certified Clinic, Certified Doctor, Certified Therapist, Certified Trainer, Certified Academy and Certified Brand.
It means the applicant has been assessed against IMAA's applicable professional standards at the time of certification.

Certification is valid for 12 months, subject to annual renewal and continued compliance.
Yes. IMAA reserves the right to suspend or revoke certification in cases involving non-compliance, misrepresentation or serious professional concerns.
Every certification carries a unique certificate number and QR verification link on myimaa.org.

Yes. Event and education pages support online registration and payment.
This depends on the programme and speaker permissions.
